Wildwood Academy of Music and the Arts

Chamber Symphony Summer Camp

June 9-20, 2025 (Monday-Friday)

Instrumental camp for students ages 13-18.

Wildwood Academy of Music and the Arts (WAMA) is hosting its Chamber Symphony Summer Camp, bringing together passionate young musicians for an immersive two-week experience.

This summer program provides professional ensemble training for musicians ages 13-18, who are dedicated to developing their musicianship and cultivating curiosity for the world around them. Participants will be placed in a large ensemble and given opportunities for small chamber groups, working closely with faculty artists to refine their technique, deepen their musical expression and understanding, and collaborate with peers in an inspiring, nature-filled setting.

Students will explore engaging repertoire, work with composers-in-residence, and gain valuable ensemble experience. The program will culminate in a final afternoon recital on June 20th, where students will showcase their work in a performance open to family and friends, followed by a reception.

Beyond music, students will also enjoy additional artistic experiences, including story-crafting, visual arts classes, and a Friday picnic, fostering a well-rounded creative environment.
Join us this summer for an unforgettable journey into the essence of story—through music and the arts!

Young Artists Summer Camp

June 23-27, 2025 (Monday-Friday)

General music and arts camp for ages 7-12.

This summer program provides a well-rounded artistic experience for kids ages 7-12, introducing them to the beauty and wonder that the arts can provide.

Students will discover the joys of music and the arts through creation and experimentation. Curiosity is the greatest driver for true learning. By letting students see how instruments create sound, hear how different mediums affect it, feel the cause and effects when they interact with different objects, they develop a relationship with the process. Art isn't just about aesthetics; it's something real and tangible that speaks to something deeper. It bridges divides between you and I to tell the story of us. Teaching our students how to ask quality questions that aim to expand their horizons, we prepare them to become leaders in the world, where-ever life may lead them. At the end of the week, there will be an afternoon showcase of what they have worked on, followed by an ice-cream party!

More information and registration will be announced early April,
so revisit us to stay up to date!
